Bone White China is a Cambridge-based food and lifestyle blog written by Sian Anderson, Charley McRiethoff and Charlotte Brown.
We’re passionate about the incredible Cambridge food scene and the mind-blowing array of local talent from florists to bakers. Aimed at both the foodie community and our fellow parent, we celebrate good food, share our lifestyle and fashion finds, bring people together at show-stopping events and support our fellow local however we can.
Sian is mum to the ever-obedient Matilda, who is already displaying all the signs of having good leadership skills (i.e. she is a right bossy little madam just like her mum!) and new little one, Gracie, who is too young to be naughty yet! She is currently working as a freelance digital communications manager and has previously worked as a freelance and in-house writer for national and local publications.
Charley (aka Thrifty Fashion Mum) moved to Cambridge from Bethnal Green, East London in 2010. She worked as a paralegal in the City for 8 years until the birth of her first son. Daughter of a chef and married to a chef, Charley co-founded, with her husband Leo, Cambridge street food institution Steak and Honour in 2012. She has been in a loving relationship with vintage fashion and mid-century interiors for longer than she cares to remember. Her interest was fuelled by studying Fashion History and Fashion Styling at the London College Fashion and Central St Martins. Expect fashion and beauty posts!
Charlotte (aka our monthly recipe queen) lives with her husband and almost 1 year old daughter Clara in Ely, they moved there just over two years ago from Cambridge and love it. She’s really enjoyed her first year of parent-hood and Clara keeps her on her toes generally getting noisier and cheekier with every passing hour. Expect monthly recipes and crafty posts!
