Fava Mill are bringing Fava beans from Finland to the UK – protein and fibre packed I was so up for trying their granola – tasty oats and clumps of ground fava beans give the granola a whopping protein hit – great as a meat-free house and great for Joel’s running too. I absolutely loved the berries and beets granola – giving it even more good-for-you power thanks to pink-milk making beetroot cubes which go SO WELL with the berries.

When Moma asked if we wanted to try their new dairy-free coconut and chia instant porridge pots my hand went straight up. Love the thought of packing a few of these in the camping kit and having instant happy vegan campers! Creamy with coconut milk and again a protein hit from the chia I’m definitely a new fan, plus quick breakfasts with two kids to get out the house or quick dinners (let’s be honest) are a win.

I’ve also been pleasently surprised by FrezyDerm’s baby cream – I’ve been a Weleda fan forever and a sudocrem mama if the pocket strings are tight but I really like this cream, especially on my older one – it’s less thick but still has that chamomile oil action I love. Plus it’s a massive tube as who else hates running out of cream at home!

Finally I’m such a fan of Savse smoothies – raw cold pressed goodness! Their new purple carrot smoothie has 28 times more antioxidant power than its orange brothers  and it’s so good. Hearty with pomegranate too it’s my no sleep crew go to right now (after a coffee admittedly)!

Pasta is our go-to weekday meal. The girls both eat loads and it’s easy all round. And now even easier – Pizza Express have just launched their new range of cook from home filled pastas. They quite literally take 1 minute to cook and the fillings are so tasty that we found a simply tomato and basil sauce is all you need on top. The Pollo ad Astra tortellini is our fav so far!

Overnight oats have become the staple breakfast for me and my little one in our house. My eldest doesn’t look to be giving up Coco Pops anytime soon – why did I ever buy them?! But for me and Grace we’ve been using Primrose Kitchen 100%  organic porridge oats, soaked overnight in greek yogurt with lots of berries and some Fave Beans (above) pilled on top for some extra protein. They have also bought out a new Oatmeal and Chia which we will be giving a try soon too.

Carrying on my ever-food based love, we have been back trying out Deliveroo again. This time we decided on a Deliveroo picnic – we settled in down at the Mill Pond with blankets and some plastic glasses and then we ordered a family feast from Wagamama and a bottle of fizz from Cambridge Wine Merchants for the adults, also ordered and delivered through Deliveroo. Our love for this fab service grows more each month! We *might* have had a car picnic Deliveroo later in the week as well.

We’ve also just taken delivery of a Cambridge Artisan subscription hamper – exciting times! We’ll be providing a full report on all the delicious goodies inside in the comings weeks.
