Mumthly round-up {April}

I am so in love with Spring being here and this Matisse print from the new Bobo Choses collection is too perfect. I literally want everything, just have to find the pennies!

We loved teaming up with Lush Cambridge for our #CamMama event, their rainbow ‘fun’ has been the best discovery since having Otto. Whenever I’m doing a solo bedtime Coco gets a colour in her bath and I get peace to feed the little man. THANK YOU LUSH.

As you know we are big fans of an eco product and were very happy to take on ecover‘s #LightenTheLoad challenge with their plant-based Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Liquid. They kindly sent us a bottle PLUS the tip that by running a wash cycle with hot water and white wine vinegar once a year you’ll keep your machine running most efficiently – good news with the amount of laundry we’re generating right now!

Finally Alex is all for getting out in the wild so Wild Inspiration boxes are right up her street – a monthly subscription box that inspires you for adventure with books, kit and foodie treats! We think it’s an awesome gift for your outdoorsy mate or yourself – Alex can’t wait to take her survival credit card camping this summer, and that paleo bar didn’t last very long either – we’re now hooked! Now to start planning that post kids escape…

As my children get older, and most days, grubbier, I have been testing out some new smellies to get them freshened up at the end of the day. My favourites so far are Storksak (yep, the same as the change bag people) – the smell is subtle and leaves babes smelling gorgeous. It’s a blend of chamomile, English pear and honey.

In other news, we’ve been trying out Deliveroo this month – the delivery-by-bike service that laucnhed in Cambridge a few months ago. We’re a bit far out for delivery to our door but we met the delivery man en-route and it worked perfectly. This time round we ordered SmokeWorks and it hit the spot perfectly. There’s other great indies on there – The Dumpling Tree, The Olive Grove,  2648 and Nanna Mexico to name a few.

To start the day I’ve been tempting the girls with fruit, yoghurt and Primrose Kitchen beetroot and ginger muesli. it’s pink so Tilly was sold and Grace nibbled it as she smashed in raspberries too. Great result!

Afternoon tea has taken a turn upwards in our pad after I discovered Tea Forte tea bags while at Holbeck Ghyll in Windermere. They are funky looking pyramid teabags that come in a great range of flavours.
