Neal’s Yard Cambridge

Ok right, so this starts back in 2011 when I was studying at the London School of Massage. One of the sequences we had to learn was a facial massage and one of the other students mentioned Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Facial Oil. Loving all things rose, this sounded right up my street so I dashed off to Covent Garden immediately to purchase a bottle. I have used this oil ever since, not only for the odd face massage (although I passed my practical exams I got married, fell pregnant and went travelling so never completed my full massage qualification!) but I lather it on my skin morning and evening. It smells divine and so luxurious. It’s a staple on my birthday/ Christmas list every year.

Now back to the present, and a few months ago I was delighted to be invited to Neal’s Yard Remedies’ Cambridge for a little look at their store and new products.
This was perfect timing as I had noticed that since having my two children, my skin had become a lot drier than it used to be and I had been on the look out for something richer and more hydrating. While I was mooching around I casually mentioned this to the lovely staff members who immediately asked me if I’d ever tried the Wild Rose Beauty Balm. “No!” I replied. “Is it any good?!”. I was plonked down and given an impromptu hand and arm massage with said beauty balm. As expected it smelt just gorgeous and although it was a thick consistency it melted straight into my skin. Around ten minutes later suitably zenned out, I was officially hooked. The brilliant thing about this product is its versatility. It can be used as a rich cleanser, gentle exfoliant, or a deep nourishing balm. It contains high levels of Rosehip oil which helps repair, firm and smooth the skin. Three big thumbs up! The Wild Rose Beauty Balm has just celebrated its ten year anniversary. I am so late to the party on this one! After discovering this balm my skin has never felt or smelt better. I use the facial oil and the beauty balm every single day and I advise you to do so too!
Oh and I MUST mention that Neal’s Yard have a super range of mother and baby products including some lovely gift packs. They would make the most wonderful baby shower or new mum gift.

Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm is £38 for a 50g pot. Rose Rehydrating Facial Oil is £20 for 30ml. Both available in store at 1 Rose Crescent and online at
