Mad Children’s tea party at The Mermaid

Trust us we know this is going to be incredible – Weds 27th July 12-2.30pm – an insane buffet, bouncy castle, ‘Tony’s Reptile Show’ with all kinds of exotic creatures and an Arts and crafts area with The Queen of Hearts herself!

Tickets are now £12 or £8 for Children Aged 6 and Under.. There’s an incredible themed buffet in the evening too if you fancy something just for the adults! Info here.

Neverland *Today* at The Willow Tree Bourne

Face painting, craft table, live music (from 3-5pm), food and drinks at The Willow Tree today – pop along and defy this grey bank holiday weekend!


The Stick Man trail at Thetford High Lodge

The Gruffalo trail has evolved into the Stick Man trail complete with tonnes of stick-based fun and a new playground perfect for older kids (and adults!). Open from now until the 19th June, free or pick up an activity pack from the info point for £3.


Wizard of Oz at Milton Country Park

Open air music theatre on August 25th. Suitable for ages 4+ with workshop for 5 – 11 year olds at 1.30pm.  Performance starts at 3pm. £10 / children & concessions £7 / family £30 / workshop £4 – info here.


Willowfest at The Willow Tree Bourne

Live acoustic music, hay bales, vintage vibe and booze under a willow tree – what more could you want from a family-friendly festival! June 25&26th. £10 per person – under 13’s free. Tickets here.


Happy Birthday Ma’am at The Mermaid Ellington

Celebrating the Queen’s 90th with a weekend Street Party.  June 11th and 12th the High Street will be closed to accommodate a band and The Mermaid will be serving delicious stir fry’s alongside a BBQ in the Mermaid’s garden. Music, food, Pimms and celebration – just turn up!
